It’s back to basics tonight at Sandown Park after two spectacular weeks of greyhound racing. Some of last week’s finalists return while others hone in on other meetings.
There will be plenty of eyes on Sportsbet Sandown Cup finalist Power Squeeze as the shortest priced favourite of the night in Race 6. Catch my thoughts before every race at Sandown Park on Sky Racing 1.
Also tonight, interstate we have some of our one-turn specialists Dramatical and Canya Excite Me doing battle in Ipswich Cup heats at Q1 Lakeside in Queensland.

Race 4, Paw Oswald (5)
Got every chance last week and he gets it again here. Giacomo (4) will push towards the rail and the two out wide don’t match his class. He gets every chase to push forward with plenty of room and is clearly fast enough to win the race.

Race 7, Dr. Babette (8)
I don’t see this race being run awfully cleanly, Dr. Babette steps up in distance for the first time but she has been screaming home over the shorter distance. Distance suits, draw is horrible but with some bunching up she could be an x-factor over this distance.

Race 4, Super Freaky (2)
We’re going again… she ended up with an absolute paddock to work with last week which she won’t get tonight. Giacomo (3) is going to put a heap of pressure on her which she won’t appreciate. At $2.90 she is under the odds.
